Kanban Planner is a native task manager for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Add cards, check them off and plan your week, right in the app or through Claude Code on your Mac. Your data stays in your own iCloud.
Structure
Kanban Planner is made for personal planning. Every task is a card in a bucket, and every bucket belongs to a plan.
For example “Projects”, “Household” or “Taxes 2026”.
Backlog → In progress → Done, or Monday → Tuesday → Wednesday: you name them and you color them. New cards take on the color of the bucket they land in.
Checklist, dates, priority, color, labels, attachments. Drag cards to the next column with a finger or a mouse, or let Claude move them.
Features
The app is built natively for iPhone, iPad and Mac and behaves the way you’d expect an Apple app to. It also works without an internet connection.
Anything due or planned for today shows up on its own, and you add other cards yourself. Your own picks start fresh each morning; the board stays as it is.
Due date, goal, priority and size all feed into the plan. The result is a week that fits your daily capacity. You can still move any card by hand.
Assign cards to a goal and see how many of its cards are done.
Daily, on weekdays, weekly, monthly or yearly. Checking one off creates the next card in the same bucket.

Open issues and pull requests show up as cards. The connection is read-only and changes nothing on GitHub.
Widgets are available for the Home Screen and Notification Center. Tap a checklist item there to check it off.
Claude integration
Kanban Planner has its own MCP server, a small add-on program for the Mac. Once it’s set up, Claude Code reads and writes directly to your plans, and the Mac app syncs the changes to your other devices through iCloud. It requires Pro.

Your data
Kanban Planner keeps your data on your device and in your private iCloud database. We don’t run servers of our own, and the app works without sign-up or analytics. Your cards never pass through us, so we can’t read them.
Pricing
Without Pro, Kanban Planner is read-only: your boards stay visible, and Pro lets you edit them. The yearly subscription starts with a 14-day free trial; the monthly subscription has no trial.
The first 14 days are free, then $24.99 per year. Apple’s trial offer is available once per Apple Account and requires a payment method on file in your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically every year at $24.99 unless you cancel in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the trial or the current year ends.
