Common questions
Buying, data and features
Does the app cost anything?
Without Pro, the app is read-only: plans, cards, goals and the week plan stay visible, while widgets and the Claude integration are locked. Creating, changing, moving, checking off and deleting require Pro. Pro comes as a yearly subscription for $24.99 per year, which starts with a 14-day free trial (an introductory offer from Apple, once per Apple Account, with a payment method on file), and as a monthly subscription for $3.99 per month with no trial. Both renew automatically unless you cancel in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends, and both unlock everything, on iPhone, iPad and Mac with the same Apple Account. Prices are also on the pricing page.
Do I lose my tasks if I don’t have Pro or a subscription ends?
No. Plans, cards, goals and the week plan stay visible. Without Pro, you can’t create, change, move, check off or delete anything; that works again as soon as you unlock Pro.
How do I cancel a subscription?
In your Apple Account settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Otherwise the subscription renews automatically. Billing goes through your Apple Account.
I already use the app. What changes with version 1.1?
Pro you bought earlier stays unlocked permanently; you don’t need to do anything. If you didn’t buy Pro, the app is read-only from version 1.1 until you unlock Pro; the yearly subscription starts with a 14-day free trial.
I bought Pro, but the app doesn’t show it.
Settings → Pro → Restore Purchases.
Where is my data?
On your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud database. I have no access to it. Details are in the privacy policy.
Sync isn’t working.
Check that every device is signed in with the same Apple Account, that iCloud Drive is on, and that sync is turned on in the app’s settings.
How does the GitHub integration work?
Sign in to GitHub in Settings and choose which repositories to include. Issues and pull requests then become cards automatically, with the due date taken from the milestone. Nothing is written back to GitHub.
How does week planning work?
It spreads open tasks across the week by due date, goal, priority and size. You set the daily capacity in Settings.
